The concern of an owner should only be what he or she will do in the upcoming days, work, vacation or groceries. It has occurred to us that after our various encounters with many owners that they are having a hard time figuring what are the duties of their syndic. They are stuck in a fog and their is no one to lead them out.

So below is a list of some duties that you should expect from your syndic manager:

– Collect rent, utility, and other payments; enforce late fees for tardy payments

– Develop and document property policies and rules
– Install locks and oversee security precautions
– Develop preventative maintenance policies
– Establish communication for repairs and emergencies
